[to seem to be able to sense what id going on behind or outside of one's field of vision]

     I swear our old maths teacher had eyes in the back of her head. We couldn't get away with anything. 

     Przysięgam, nasz dawna nauczycielka od matematyki miała oczy dookoła głowy. Nic nie uchodziło nam na sucho.

[to have the mental capacity for something]

     I'm afraid I can't help you. I have no head for numbers. 

     Obawiam się, że nie mogę Ci pomów. Nie mam głowy do cyfr.

     You're obviously got a head start over the other applications due to your wide experience in the field. 

     Oczywiście masz przewagę nad innymi kandydatami ze względu na swoje szeroko doświadczenie w tej dziedzinie.

to keep a cool head - utrzymać spokój, zachować zimną krew 
[never lose control of emotions; to stay calm in a difficult situation]

     I don't know how you manage to keep a cool head in such a hectic, stressful office!

[completely, thoroughly]
